Three former New York Giants coaches have resurfaced in New England to be part of new head coach Jerod Mayo's staff: Ben McAdoo, Drew Wilkins, and Tom Quinn.

McAdoo, who was the Giants offensive coordinator from 2014-2015 before being promoted to head coach in 2016, where he served for nearly two seasons of the team, was named a senior offensive assistant. During his nearly two years as head coach of the Giants, he took the team to a postseason berth in 2016 before seeing the bottom drop out from underneath him the following year.

Wilkins was most recently the Giants outside linebackers coach, a role he held for two seasons on current head coach Brian Daboll's staff. Wilkins, named the Patriots' outside linebackers coach, was dismissed by Daboll on January 8.

Quinn, named a special teams assistant coach of the Patriots staff, was with the Giants from 2006 through 2021, spending his first season as an assistant special teams coach before being promoted to special teas coordinator following the retirement of Mike Sweatman after the 2006 season.

Quinn held the role of Giants special teams coordinator through 2017; the following year, he was named assistant special teams coach after the team hired Thomas McGaughey as their new special teams coordinator.
