WATCH: Le'Veon Bell scores first TD as a Jet on 9-yard pass from Sam Darnold
Bell reached the end zone for the first time since the 2017 season and followed up with a two-point conversion reception to boot
Le'Veon Bell is officially in the scoring book for the New York Jets.
In his debut appearance vs. the visiting Buffalo Bills, Bell scored on a 9-yard reception from Sam Darnold with 7:01 in the third quarter.
On the ensuing two-point conversion attempt, Darnold was being chased but rolled out and scrambled to hit Bell in the corner of the end zone to extend the Jets' lead to 16-0.
It took a little while to get the offense rolling but it's encouraging to see Darnold and Bell connect for what Jets fans hope will be the first of plenty scores this season.
