The comparisons will always be there for Jamey Mosley but the rookie linebacker is only focused on being the best version of himself.

Jamey Mosley is the little brother of four-time Pro Bowl linebacker C.J. Mosley, whom the Jets acquired from the Baltimore Ravens this March in free agency.

A month later, the Jets signed Jamey Mosley as an undrafted rookie. Jamey Mosley's football journey has been far less heralded than his decorated brother.

C.J. Mosley was a highly sought after recruit and at Alabama he won the Butkus Award as well as being selected twice as a consensus All-American. C.J. Mosley was a first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Meanwhile, Jamey Mosley walked on at Alabama and has been virtually under the radar his entire career.

However, Jamey Mosley never felt any envy or jealously towards his brother. Instead, he views his brother's accomplishments as inspiration.

Interestingly, this will be the first time the Mosley brothers play together. For it to be on the pro level makes it even more amazing.

“We’ve never played with each other,” Jamey Mosley said to Alabama.com. “We always missed each other by a year, so it’s a pretty cool thing to see it play out like that.”

Jamey Mosley will be fighting the odds to make the Jets' opening day roster but after coming this far he intends to make the most of this chance.

“I’m just looking forward to the opportunity,” Jamey Mosley said to Alabama.com. “I’m just blessed to even be in this position, to be able to even have a seat in the best organization in sports. It’s just a tremendous opportunity, and I look forward to seizing that opportunity and competing at my best level.”
