Per a report from NFL insider Chris Mortensen on ESPN's flagship program SportsCenter Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles are working hard to acquire Lions cornerback Darius Slay.

"They're taking a shot at Darius Slay of the Lions, but the price tag on Slay is very, very high," Mortensen said.

A report surfaced on Sunday that teams have been calling the Lions about Slay.

Head coach Matt Patricia was not willing to elaborate further on trade rumors following the Lions' victory over the Giants Sunday.
