Lions' 2024 Super Bowl Odds

Can Lions hoist the Lombardi Trophy next season?

The Detroit Lions are no longer a secret in the NFL. After surprising many by finishing the 2022 campaign with a winning record, Dan Campbell's team took the next step by finishing 12-5 and winning the NFC North division title in 2023.

It didn't stop there, as the Lions charged to the NFC Championship Game and held a 24-7 lead over the San Francisco 49ers at halftime. Unfortunately for Campbell's group, the 49ers made a second-half surge, and punched their ticket to the Super Bowl with a 34-31 win.

The Lions are viewed to be right in the mix again in 2024, according to many popular sportsbooks

Currently, the Lions are tied for fifth with the Cincinnati Bengals for the best odds of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in 2024 (+1200).

The 49ers currently have the best odds at +550, while the Kansas City Chiefs, their opponent in Super Bowl 58, come in second at +750.

The Baltimore Ravens rank third at +900, and the Buffalo Bills are fourth at +950.

Detroit faces a difficult schedule next season, as it will face seven teams that qualified for the playoffs this year.

The Lions received a boost by getting both offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to return for next season. Both were viewed as top candidates for the open head coaching vacancies across the league.

Additionally, a number of key contributors remain under contract for next season. Players such as wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, defensive end Aidan Hutchinson and running back Jahmyr Gibbs are expected to take another step forward with more development.
