Wednesday's media session with Matt Patricia centered around the trade of starting safety Quandre Diggs.
When asked about how trading a team captain is sold to the players, Patricia replied, "That is always a challenge. In the NFL, in general, or sports or business we are all in situations where we have friends or people we are really close with that are no longer working with us. We are focused on making sure we are doing everything possible to help ourselves and help the team win. You hate to see those situations when they come up but you get it and you understand people are trying to do what they think is best and you respect that. You just go back to work and really that is the bottom line."
