The Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions tonight at Lambeau Field. Along with the World's Best Preview, we get your ready with the Packers Overtime Podcast. In today's podcast, it's our three keys to the game, some audio from defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and why this game is so important to the Packers.

In one portion of the podcast, we reference Lions coach Matt Patricia's defensive philosophy of taking away what the opponent does best on offense. For the Packers, who will be without Davante Adams, that might be running back Aaron Jones.

“I think whoever they think we want to get the ball to, they’re going to try to do everything they can to take that away,” offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said. “That’s always been their MO. They’re going to do their best to take away anyone. We just have to adjust and other people are going to have to step up and win their one-on-ones. That’s the big key versus this defense. They’re going to try to create as many one-on-one battles as possible. From the line to the wide receivers, the tight ends, that’s what they want to do. The big challenge for our guys is they’re going to have a lot of one-on-one opportunities, which if you win gives you some opportunities for explosive plays.”
