First, Belichick made a previously-advertised appearance at Nebraska, visiting a program currently under the watch of former Carolina Panthers' head coach Matt Rhule. In addition to making a coaching clinic presentation for 800+ attendees, The Athletic's Mitch Sherman reported that the eight-time Super Bowl champion spent four hours meeting with the Rhule's staff.

On Saturday, Belichick was photographed wearing Washington gear while attending the Huskies' padded spring practice. It was a family affair in Seattle as Belichick's son, Steven, landed the defensive coordinator role with the NCAA nationall runner-up after departing New England.

"I look up to him in so many different areas. To have him out here, to lean on him, has been awesome," said the younger Belichick while addressing a group of reporters, including Fan Nation's Lars Hanson.

Using his Instagram story, Washington defensive assistant Kirkland Parker posted a photo of Belichick from inside the Huskies' meeting room and labeled the future Hall-of-Fame coach as "A TRUE 🐐."

Set to turn 72 years old on April 16, Belichick likely won't be on an NFL sideline in 2024. After mutually parting ways with the Patriots, he interviewed for the Atlanta Falcons' head coaching vacancy but remains unemployed.
