Patriots Docuseries Reveals Details Of Brady-Belichick Breakup: 'We Played For Tom!'

The upcoming Apple TV+ docuseries on the New England Patriots dynasty could provide fans with more behind-the-scenes details behind Tom Brady's decision to leave Foxboro.

While 2023 didn't provide fans with much excitement or optimism for the future as the New England Patriots endured a horrendous 4-13 season, the upcoming release of the Apple TV+ documentary "The Dynasty: New England Patriots" could make up for it.

After a release date and initial trailer was released in November, a second trailer for the docuseries has dropped and has given the notion that it won't just be a 10-episode highlight reel. Rather, it is set to provide the good and bad from the nearly two-decade-long dynasty.

The new, 60-second preview gives brief glimpses at topics that will be discussed, like Aaron Hernandez, Deflategate, Spygate, and potentially an inside look into how it all came crumbling down thanks to a quote from former receiver Danny Amendola.

“We worked for Bill, but we played for Tom,” Amendola says in the trailer.

The quote from Amendola certainly seems to tease that the docuseries will delve into the reasons for the breakup between legendary quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick. Both Brady and Belichick are shown in interviews during the trailer and will potentially give their side of the story.

The 10-part docuseries is directed by Emmy-winner Matthew Hamachek and is based on Jeff Benedict's 2020 book. Fans can begin watching the series starting on February 16 via Apple TV.
