Answering Your Las Vegas Raiders Emails, Questions

The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the world's most influential professional sports franchises, and we take time each week to answer the questions of a rabid fan base.

The Las Vegas Raiders have already turned the page to the 2024 season, and many questions surround this ICONIC franchise.

We will answer some of the questions and emails from Raider Nation as we look ahead to this coming seaaon.

Hondo, do you know the cost for the Raiders to move up to No. 1 from the Chicago Bears? --Michael T.

Hi Michael, I can, it would take three first round picks (2024, 25, and 26) and three second round picks (2024, 25, and 26).

Hondo, what do you predict will happen with Josh Jacobs? --Simon R.

He wants to stay with the Raiders, the Raiders want him, the question is does someone come in and pay money far over market value? I suspect he will remain, but I am not 100 percent sure of that right now. I do know of some other interested teams.

Hondo, did the Raiders really have a shot at Tom Brady, and Jon Gruden said no? Please do tell. --Ken P.

Yes, they had a chance, and Jon was not interested. I waited to answer this because I was waiting to talk to someone who knew about it. Tom had a list of demands (per the source) including Rob Gronkowski had to come, and Jon was concerned about all the demands, and believed in Derek Carr. Tom then went to Tampa Bay and won a Super Bowl.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski could have been Las Vegas Raiders.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski could have been Las Vegas Raiders.

Hondo, Antonio Pierce is my John Madden; why do you think he gets so much hate? --Thomas S.

He is doing it his way. People who are not genuine, and have sold out to being a cheap copy rather than an original, don’t like those who aren’t like them.

Hondo, in your opinion is Jim Harbaugh good for NFL considering they are paying him $16 million per year? --Robert G.

Yes, he is very good for the NFL.

Hondo, I know you like Davante Adams, but can you see any scenario where trading him is worth it? --Thank you, Greg F.

I do like and respect him, but if someone is willing to make a stupid offer, such as what the Minnesota Vikings did to the Dallas Cowboys for Herschel Walker, I would say yes.

Hondo, I heard you on CBS Radio recently, but you were discussing something, and I didn’t get to hear it all. You were talking about NFL teams and how far they go to learn about people. Did you say that they own bars? --Tanya M.

No, I know of NFL teams that have paid bartenders, managers and door people for information on how players act.

Hondo, I have messaged you on IG, but you don’t respond. How come? --Arnold W.

I am so sorry, I am not prolific on IG, I am learning, but it is much harder to master than X. My apologies, but you did make it in here.

Hondo, I am so excited for your next deep-dive article. Any update? --Christie D.

My next Las Vegas Raiders Deep-Dive Articles will be a three-part series. They will publish Thursday, March 28, Monday, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2, all at Noon EDT/9 PDT. Thank you, everyone. I can't wait to share and for you to learn and enjoy.

Now, from our Hondo Hate file:

Hondo, the word hate is not strong enough to how I feel about you. You throw in our face constantly, “I am not a fan,” so why should we listen to you? You are terrible at your job, a terrible person, and the only thing about you is when you post pictures of your hot wife. You just suck. --Ronald V.

Hondo, no one cares about your kid. Stop Tweeting about him, so you have a kid? So do mi--llions of us and no one cares about yours. Stop it, you are an idiot. Mike M.

Hondo, I could care less if Antonio Pierce is a good guy, I could care less if you are, the fact is that you both suck. You pressured Mark Davis into hiring him, and after he fails, I will blame no one but you. F**k you, you’re the worst kind of human. Not a Raider fan, but forcing an owner to make terrible decsions. So what if AP smokes cigars, and is a rah-rah nobody. We are doomed to have him, and you as a beat writer. --Donnie J.
