Puka Nacua shocked the world in his rookie season when he stepped up for the Los Angeles Rams in a big way, but the young receiver is just getting started.

Nacua appeared on a recent episode of The Rush with Maxx Crosby and talked about some of his goals heading into a new year. He talked about how he wants to improve at beating man coverage next season and the growth that he saw in his first year.

"Beating press coverage and beating man-to-man is a big part of the game," Nacua said. "Being able to get off the line of scrimmage against anybody and everybody in an efficient and timely manner... Watching myself at the beginning of the season and then watching myself at the end of the season, it's like two different people."

The young wide out was not the fastest guy on the field at any given time, but his physicality with opposing corners made him a nightmare matchup. But Nacua believes that if he can get better at beating press coverage, he could be an even tougher cover.

The Pro Bowl receiver was 220 pounds for most of this past season, and he told Crosby and the rest of the crew that he has slimmed down to around 210. If this is true, then he could begin to make a speed improvement heading into next season.

Nacua had a stellar rookie season, but if he can continue to improve like he did throughout the course of his first year, then he could be a problem for opposing defenses for years to come.
