Los Angeles Rams Re-Sign LB Troy Reeder

Troy Reeder started six games for the Los Angeles Rams last season.

The Los Angeles Rams have re-signed linebacker Troy Reeder, the team announced Thursday.

Reeder, 29, has spent four of his five NFL seasons with the Rams, with the other coming with the Los Angeles Chargers. The undrafted free agent out of Delaware was with the Rams from 2019-2021 and helped L.A. win a Super Bowl LVI title, recording two sacks in the big game. Then in 2023, he returned to the Rams after a one-year stint with their cross-town counterparts.

Reeder signed with the Minnesota Vikings in March of 2023, but the team released him just before the season. Just a couple of days later, he decided to come back to the team he got his start with.

Over 83 career games, Reeder has 264 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, nine passes defended and two interceptions. All 31 of his NFL starts have come as a member of the Rams.

In the postseason, Reeder has started five of seven games and recorded 37 total tackles.

Reeder may not be a starter given the Rams' current depth chart, but he has proven to be a valuable piece of the defense even in a rotational role.

The Rams have not revealed contract details as of Thursday night.
