Rams Watch: Aaron Donald Honored with Full-Page Newspaper Tribute

After 10 seasons of dominating the NFC West and the rest of the opposing offenses in the NFL, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald surprisingly announced his retirement a little over a week ago.

He'll leave the league as one of the greatest ever to play the game and one of the best Rams to ever put on the uniform.

There are a lot of ways to honor a former player, especially one of Donald's talent, and Los Angeles will no doubt be the recipient of many of those honors by the Rams. But on Sunday, the team elected to honor the former Pitt product through the media with a full-page tribute in the L.A. Times newspaper.

"LEGENDS LIVE FOREVER," with a photo of Donald, his signature and the Rams logo is what comprised the full-page spread.

Donald leaves the game with 111 career sacks, the most ever by a Ram. He'll also be a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2029. His name will be forever tied to the likes of Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood and Merlin Olsen as some of the best defensive players to ever play for the team.

Donald is already listed on Ranker.com - a website that allows users to vote on specific lists - as the greatest Rams player of all time.
