MAY 3 QB ADDED The Los Angeles Rams have Matthew Stafford at the top of the QB depth chart and it is a scramble from there, especially now that another name has been added. Word out of Denver is that journeyman backup Brett Rypien, formerly of the Broncos, is joining L.A on a one-year deal.

Rypien, who turns 27 this summer, figures to battle fourth-round rookie Stetson Bennett for the No. 2 job behind Stafford.

“This organization is at the point now where they won a Super Bowl two years ago and I think that’s where they expect to be,’’ Rypien said in an interview Wednesday with Denver's 9NEWS. “Everything I’ve heard and seen the mentality is to get back (to the Super Bowl) this year. I’m excited to be a part of it and excited for the opportunity.”

ROUND 5 PM UPDATE: CARDINALS SENDING NO. 3 TO TITANS?

The NFC West might be getting easier for the Los Angeles Rams

Not long after initial rumors began of the Cardinals trading down from No. 3 overall, a potential trade partner has emerged - The Tennessee Titans.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Cardinals are "trying to send No. 3 overall and DeAndre Hopkins to Titans for No. 11 pick plus more."

At No. 3 overall, the Titans would likely be pursuing a quarterback, while the Cardinals have been testing the waters of a trade down for some time, looking to acquire additional assets.

Since the report from Pro Football Talk, insider Ian Rapoport has quelled some of those rumors.

"While the #Titans have had conversations about a potential trade up to No. 3 -- among other spots -- they have not had conversations centered around star WR DeAndre Hopkins, source said," Rapoport tweeted.

ROUND 1 4:30 PM UPDATE: CARDINALS TRADE DOWN?

The Arizona Cardinals have been trending to be one of the most likely teams to trade down in this year's NFL Draft. And now, it seems like that is indeed going to be the case.

According to reports, the Cardinals are indeed in the process of finalizing a deal to trade down in the draft from No. 3 overall.

The Cardinals had been in the process of mulling over multiple offers from other teams, though the trade partner has yet to be revealed.
