Rams' Sean McVay Ranks in Top 5 Head Coaches in NFLPA Report Cards

The NFLPA team reports cards were released recently, and Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay makes the grade.

The Los Angeles Rams ranked fairly low on a lot of different things in the NFL Player's Association (NFLPA) report cards that were released on Wednesday, but the head coach position was not one of them.

In the head coach category, Rams' Sean McVay received an A grade, tying him for fourth in the NFL. He is only behind Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions, Kevin O'Connell of the Minnesota Vikings, and Andy Reid of the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Sean McVay

McVay has been one of the best coaches in the NFL ever since he took the reins in 2017. He has been one of the best offensive minds in the game and continues to innovate on that side of the ball.

He was also at one point the youngest NFL coach of all time, as he was 30 years old when the Rams first hired him in 2016. He is also the youngest coach to ever make the Super Bowl and to win.

In fact, it wasn't until the Patriots' hiring of new head coach Jerod Mayo in January that McVay's seven-year run as the NFL's youngest active coach was broken.

And as a result of that success despite his young age, McVay has more than earned the respect of both players and coaches alike and is recognized as one of the league's best in this year's report cards.

McVay was able to lead the Rams to the playoffs after a rough 2022 campaign and will be looking to further improve on last season. He and the rest of the team will do all they can to contend this year and continue to build the young core that they have.
