Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua Headline Rams Selected To Pro Bowl

Los Angeles Rams stars Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Aaron Donald will be representing the team at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Amidst a resurgent season, the Los Angeles Rams will be well-represented at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games next month.

The Rams landed four players on the initial Pro Bowl roster, including two veterans in quarterback Matthew Stafford and defensive tackle Aaron Donald and two players making their first appearances in receiver Puka Nacua and running back Kyren Williams.

As strange as it may sound, this is only Stafford's second Pro Bowl selection and his first since 2014. The 35-year-old is having a bounce-back season after dealing with multiple injuries last year, throwing for 3,965 yards and 24 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions in 15 games. Stafford has been on a tear recently, and it's helped the Rams turn their season around completely.

One of the best defensive players in NFL history, Donald earned his 10th Pro Bowl selection in as many seasons. With this selection, he became the only defensive lineman since 1970 to earn a Pro Bowl nod in each of his first 10 seasons, and he joined Hall of Famers Reggie White and Bruce Smith as the only linemen with 10 selections period. In 16 games this season, Donald has 53 total tackles and eight sacks.

The first of the Rams' newcomers to the Pro Bowl, Nacua has put together one of the most impressive rookie seasons by any receiver ever. The fifth-round pick out of BYU is fourth in the NFL with 1,445 receiving yards, and he needs just 29 yards to break the rookie receiving record set in 1960.

Williams may not be a rookie, but after dealing with injuries in his first campaign, the former Notre Dame running back is having an impressive breakout season. Despite missing four games, he still ranks second in the league with 1,144 rushing yards and first in rushing yards per game with 95.3. The Rams' offense is a different beast with Williams on the field, and it's very clear to see.

In addition to that quartet, receiver Ben Skowronek was selected as an alternate on special teams.

The Pro Bowl games will take place from Feb. 1-4 in Orlando, Florida, leading up to the flag football game on the final day of the event.
