Former New Orleans Saints All-Pro Return Specialist Signs A 1-Year Deal With The Baltimore Ravens
Deonte Harty signs to play for his hometown NFL team.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Deonte Harty, former New Orleans Saints All-Pro return specialist and receiver for the New Orleans Saints, is set to sign a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
Harty, 26, played for the Buffalo Bills during the 2023-24 season and returned a punt for a 96-yard touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.
The football player is returning to Baltimore, where he started his football journey at Archbishop Curley High School.
New Orleans signed Harty as an undrafted free agent from Assumption University in 2019. He made the Saints' 53-man roster after performing well during training camp and preseason.
He was named to the Pro Bowl and earned First Team AP All-Pro honors after leading the NFL in punt return yardage as a rookie.
Harty has made 179 returns for 2,989 yards, averaging 16.7 yards per return, and scored two touchdowns. As a receiver, the All-Pro has caught 79 passes for 943 yards and three touchdowns.
