The New Orleans Saints are reportedly promoting Offensive Assistant Jordan Traylor to assistant quarterbacks coach.

The New Orleans Saints are putting the finishing touches on their new offensive coaching staff. After making changes almost unilaterally on that side of the ball, there is a lot of excitement building around what offense will look like in the Big Easy for the 2024 NFL season. While moves like a new offensive coordinator and bringing in proven, veteran coaches to build out the staff have been popular talking points, New Orleans is now filling out the rest of its staff. Per 24/7 Sports college football reporter Matt Zenitz, the Saints are promoting Offensive Assistant Jordan Traylor to assistant quarterbacks coach.

Traylor has been just wrapped up with fifth season with the team. He started as a scouting assistant for his first two season, moved to defensive assistant for the next two years and spent 2023 on the offensive side helping out with the tight ends group. Traylor will join new quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko in working with Derek Carr and the rest of the position group.

Traylor is yet another coaching staff member with Texas A&M ties as well, Allen's alma mater. The high school quarterback and wideout transferred during his collegiate quarterbacking career to Texas A&M for from 2014-15.
