NASHVILLE - When it comes to Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, it's easy to remember some of the most impressive stats he has accumulated during his career in Nashville.

His 2,000-yard rushing season and his 99-yard touchdown run against Jacksonville are at the front of any list of his accomplishments. Still, there are some other, lesser know numbers that help bolster the case that Henry is a Hall fo Famer now, regardless of what his future holds.

Here are a few that most don't know.

Henry finished the 2022 season with the second-most total yards from scrimmage, with 1,936 yards, behind fellow former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs, who ended the season with 2,053 yards.

Henry needs at least 10 rushing touchdowns this season to become the third player in league history to record at least ten rushing touchdowns in six consecutive seasons,  LaDainian Tomlinson (9) and Adrian Peterson (7) are the others.

Henry needs one more 200 rushing yards game to surpass Peterson and O.J. Simpson (6 each) for the most 200-plus yard rushing games in a career.

Henry was one of two players who rushed for over 1,000 yards and averaged over nine yards per reception in 2022. Tony Pollard of the Cowboys was the other.

Henry holds three of the top-ten all-time single-game rushing yardage games, the second (250 yards), third (238 yards), and the ninth (219 yards).  The Colts Jonathan Taylor is first with 253 yards in a single game, just three yards ahead of Henry's 250-yard game.

While the debate will continue as to Henry's Hall of Fame credentials, there is no denying that he has been the best running back in the NFL during his tenure in Tennessee. Despite some claims that there are other backs who are better, Henry managed over 1,538 rushing yards behind one of the most dismal offensive lines in the league last season.
