NASHVILLE- Arden Key spent the 2022 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but his career blossomed in the 2021 season with San Francisco.

According to sources, late Tuesday night Key agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans for a reported 3-years, $21 million, including $13 million fully guaranteed at signing.

A pass rush specialist, Key has the length (6'5" 240) and has a variety of ways to get to opposing quarterbacks.

According to an article by JagsWire, Jacksonville wanted to resign Key, as they felt he was part of their young core.

Jacksonville is also pushing to keep pass-rusher Arden Key with a clear goal of maintaining its promising core.

Not only have the Titans added a weapon at a position of need, but they also managed to take a player away from a division rival simultaneously with this move to secure Key.

At 26, Key is still young and an ascending player who collected just 4.5 sacks in a rotational role with the Jaguars in 2022.

For those who began questioning the Titans plan for free agency, there does indeed appear to be a method and a plan in place, and while Key might not be a well-known name, he is a talented athlete that would appear to be a solid fit for the Titans.

In his first four seasons in the league, Key is well-traveled, having spent time with the Raiders, 49ers, and Jaguars.
