NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans are putting the finishing touches on their mandatory mini-camp and there are some players who we have yet to see on the field. Prior to Thursday's practice, Mike Vrabel gave an update on some key players and their status for training camp.

Kristian Fulton

Fulton wasn't with the team for the first week of organized team activities. He joined in the second week, but has yet to hit the field. Vrabel hasn't disclosed what injury Fulton is dealing with, but it doesn't sound too serious if Vrabel expects Fulton back for the start of training camp at the end of July.

Fulton was called out as a "repeat offender" by Vrabel at the end of the 2022 season for the way he manages his injuries. Vrabel likely isn't pleased that Fulton missed the first week of camp to show up injured anyways. This is a contract year for Fulton and the other guy Vrabel called out left for Miami in the offseason.

Harold Landry

Landry tore his ACL prior to the 2022 season which should give him a great chance to be ready to go for the start of 2023, but as for training camp in a few weeks, Vrabel wasn't ready to go too far. Vrabel said Landry is getting closer, but won't commit to him being a full-go for camp.

The Titans are better off taking a patient approach. The pass rush is the key element that has been winning the Titans games for a few seasons and Landry is one of the key pieces making that engine go.

Caleb Farley

Farley has been ravaged by injury his entire NFL career. Farley came in his rookie year off a back procedure. He then tore his ACL midseason in 2021. Last season he injured his back again and had another surgery on it this offseason.

As Vrabel points out, Farley is lifting, but him not being ready to hit the field is quite the disappointment. Farley switched positions from wide receiver to corner early in his college career and desperately needs practice time. The more time he misses, the more likely it is he never reaches his potential.

Dillon Radunz

Radunz tore his ACL in Week 15 last season, so no one should be expecting him to be ready for training camp. Vrabel essentially confirmed that on Thursday. Radunz appeared to be in the doghouse for both of his years with the Titans. Last year, the Titans left Radunz on the bench as Dennis Daley had the worst season in recent memory for a left tackle. Radunz got his shot and tore his ACL ten plays later. Just brutal luck.
