NASHVILLE - When the clock struck noon on Monday, names began flying off the free agency boards as deals began to be announced, and as of 4 pm, the Tennessee Titans and any rumors about them have been silent.

However,  that changed shortly before 5 pm with the announcement that the Titans have agreed to a deal with a former first-round pick, Andre Dillard.

A 2019 first-round pick of the Eagles, Dillard appeared in 43 games over three seasons in Philadelphia. He missed the entire 2020 season because of a torn ACL.

Terms of the deal are reportedly for 3-years and $29 million which seems like a solid deal for both sides as the Titans get a potential left tackle for a reasonable price, while Dillard gets the opportunity to become a starter.

While Dillard was a first-round selection, he has been largely used in a backup role because of the development of Jordan Mailata, who assumed the starting role for Philadelphia.

Dillard will immediately step into a starting role, possibly left tackle, meaning that the Titans may, or may not be in the market for a left tackle in the upcoming draft.
