Growing up in south Florida, Alex has deep roots in the market he covers. Now in his third year on the Panthers beat, he previously wrote for Lemon City Live, covering two Stanley Cup runs. His sports journalism experience stretches well beyond the ice. Since 2018, he has also covered the Miami Marlins as part of Fish on First, giving him a well-rounded perspective on south Florida's professional sports scene. A Florida State University graduate, Alex earned his degree in 2020.
