Aston Martin Confirm Early Pre-Season Testing Failure Which Caused Red Flag

Aston Martin have revealed that they have suffered from electrical issues on the AMR23 during the first morning of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
The British team have been the first to cause a red flag after reserve driver Felipe Drugovich, who has stepped in for Lance Stroll, had to stop on the side of the track.
The team took the car back into the garage and tried their best to keep things under wraps. Drugovich eventually came back out on track and the team have now confirmed that they suffered from electrical issues.
Fernando Alonso will be taking the AMR23 out on the track during the afternoon session today, so will be glad the issues have been sorted and he will get his time in their 2023 contender.
The pre-season testing is back under way with just under three hours left of the morning session. The testing days will also run tomorrow and Saturday 25 February before the first race weekend of the season in Bahrain next week from 3-5 March.
