British GP Results: Alex Albon Goes Top 3 In FP1

Max Verstappen put in the fastest time during the first free practice session of the British Grand Prix weekend. 

Following the Red Bull driver was Sergio Perez and Alex Albon who put in the second and third fastest times, respectively.

Max Verstappen was struggling with grip issues throughout the session as well as Lewis Hamilton. Esteban Ocon also complained of poor grip on his team radio.

Both McLaren and Mercedes have brought upgrades to the iconic weekend, with Hamilton, George Russell, and Lando Norris hoping for successful home races. British-Thai driver Alex Albon will also be hoping to bring in a good result for Williams who are celebrating their 800th Grand Prix entry at Silverstone and the Hungarian Grand Prix.
