The 2023 F1 calendar welcomes the British Grand Prix later this year in July, and as we expect the usual parade lap before the race takes place, this year promises to be a little different if The Sun is to be believed.

According to UK tabloid newspaper, Brad Pitt will be part of the filming crew for a film co-produced by Lewis Hamilton. The filming crew will have an emphatic presence during the British Grand Prix, and the parade lap will be one of the scenes captured on film with Pitt receiving special permission from Formula 1 to take part in the lap.

The Sun reports that "watching Brad Pitt lead the field in the British Grand Prix will be an incredible and surreal moment for TV viewers and fans at Silverstone in July."

Silverstone is an iconic circuit and has been the home of the British Grand Prix since 1926. The circuit is known for its fast and flowing corners, making it a challenging track for drivers. It is also known for its passionate fans, who create a lively atmosphere during the race weekend.

The British Grand Prix is an important race in the Formula 1 calendar, and fans from all over the world come to Silverstone to witness the excitement. With Brad Pitt joining the parade lap this year, the race weekend is sure to be even more memorable, although I'm sure there will be some that don't appreciate the F1 weekend being changed to cater to Hollywood.
