The Mercedes W14 livery was revealed yesterday during an event held from Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix. Since then, fans have been delving into the design and some have found something they now can't un-see.

Overall, fans have been extremely excited for the W14 returning to an all-black livery similar to that of the teams 2021 car. The team had been teasing fans for a few weeks with hints of an all-silver livery, all-black livery, and even a Petronas turquoise livery.

Taking to Twitter, one fan pointed out the slightly off-centre Mercedes logo on the front of the nose. They wrote:

"I can't live with this"

One other Mercedes fan tried to blame it on the camera angle, but the Twitter user was not convinced.

"Camera angle. It is in centre but the angle makes it look this way."

Pointing this design flaw out has clearly ruined it for others in the comments. Someone else responded:

"Seeing this just ruined it for me"

Another Twitter user said it would "haunt" their dreams:

"I wasted so much time on iRacing's 1 px alignment problem, this would haunt my dreams."

Another fan commented, jokingly:

"Once their drivers start complaining about the balance of the car being a little off, look no further."

Someone else commented:

"You could just stay quiet, no one would've been hurt :("

The original Twitter user clearly caused chaos by pointing it out. Another user responded:

"Once you see it, you can't unsee it"

The first time fans will be able to properly see the W14 on track at the pre-season testing in Bahrain next week from 23-25 February, the week before the season opening race in Bahrain on 3-5 March.
