McLaren have revealed the MCL60 livery today during an event which was streamed to their YouTube channel and in front of a live audience.

The 2023 livery features much more exposed carbon fibre than we saw on the 2022 car and of course has the papaya orange with bold blue accenting. The wheel trims continue to sport the Google Chrome logos, which fans were keen on last year.

Fans have been quick to share their thoughts on the new look and event, with some saying the launch was "exhilarating".

One fan commented:

"It's the same but cleaner/nicer. I guess we are trying to make this livery a legacy one like we did with Marlboro & Vodafone. It looks the part, now make it quick."

Someone else wrote:

"WOW! What a reveal — an absolute beauty!"

Here is a round-up of some of the fans comments:

"The launch on YouTube was exhilarating team. An absolute masterpiece of cinematography Thank you.... I genuinely had goose bumps"
"Absolutely beautiful. Well done team, well done to all the boys and girls behind the scenes who put this beauty piece together"
"Okay I’m officially fed up of launch season. Almost every car has the same or similar colour scheme. Getting boring now. Do better"
"So many teams barely putting any paint/wrap on their cars this season. So much bare black carbon fibre, barely going to be able to tell the grid apart at this rate!"
"A bit of a color swap on the wings. It's not bad, but I didn't really like last years livery so not a big fan of this years either."
"I love the livery, I see some developments carried forward, some new concepts. I hope we can go forward into the top 5 fights"
"Beautiful looking car but there's not enough papaya for me. it looks like its made by Google not McLaren"
