F1 News: Alex Albon Branded "Driver Of The Year" After Surprising Williams Reveal

F1 fans have been hailing Alex Albon for his incredible performance so far this season after the floor of the Williams was revealed.
Fans were stunned when Williams unveiled their floor design after Logan Sergeant's incident on the track during free practice yesterday.
New regulations shifted the focus to ground effect downforce, where the floor generates most of the downward force instead of the top of the car. Red Bull's RB19 showcased an impressive floor design, sparking excitement in the F1 world. However, Williams' floor appeared vastly inferior, lacking complexity. This could be attributed to their limited resources, technical capabilities, and time constraints. Despite these setbacks, Alex Albon manages to extract remarkable performance from the car.
One fan commented on a comparison post between the Williams and Mercedes floors:

Someone else posted hilariously that fans needed to group together to donate money to give the British-Thai driver a competitive car. They posted:
"Time to launch a crowdfunding campaign? Just £10 will give Alex Albon a floor to race on."

Albon is the only driver this season to have out-qualified his teammate for every race. Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix today, Albon was eighteenth in the drivers' standings with one point, the only point for the team so far this year.
Another fan called for Albon to be signed with a more competitive team. However, he did sign another multi-year contract with the British team last year. The fan commented:
"More confirmation that Alex needs to be with a team that can give him a car that he deserves. He’s so underrated."
