F1 News: Alfa Romeo Give Fans The Opportunity To Own The C43 Chassis In Never-Before-Seen Move

Alfa Romeo are making history by putting up a C43 chassis up for auction for a member of the public to own.
The Swiss team released the C43 during a live event from Zurich this morning which featured drivers' Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. And now, the team have posted to social media to share the news that a chassis of the C43 is now up for auction. They wrote:
"A world exclusive. And it could be yours.
"For the first time in history, we're making an #F1 launch car available to the public.
"This C43 chassis, as built by F1 Authentics, is now officially up for auction."

The C43 chassis has gone up for auction with F1 Authentics and, as of writing, the current bid is £31,000 and it will be up for auction until February 21. According to F1 Authentics description:
"F1 Authentics is proud to present this Official Alfa Romeo F1® Team Stake C43 Launch Car, used for the F1 team's official 2023 launch, held on 7th February 2023. Now, this car is available for you to own within your car collection!
"Built by F1 Authentics, this exquisite car (a non-running show car) is chassis no.1 and features a signed chassis plaque, autographed by the 2023 driver line-up.
"The C43 is the successor of the C42 and will be driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu who continue with the team in 2023 - their second season with the team.
"This car represents a world first - the first time an official F1 launch car has become available to the public. Now you have a chance to own the Alfa's 2023 car - the first chassis."
Bottas and Guanyu will be driving the C43 for the upcoming 2023 season which kicks off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 3-5 March.
