F1 News: Andretti Urges Formula One To Not "Overdo" American Races

Former Formula One driver Mario Andretti has sent a warning to F1 management to not overdo the American races on the calendar.
Since Netflix's Drive to Survive propelled the sport's popularity in the States, the Formula One calendar has welcomed two additional races in America -the Miami and Las Vegas Grands Prix - which join the long-standing Austin Grand Prix.

With the boom in popularity, there has been talk about bringing yet another American race to the sport. However, this has been met with some criticism with many other countries keen to join the calendar and some fans urging the sport to bring back the French or German Grand Prix.
During an interview with RacingNews365.com, Andretti has urged Formula One Management to not "overdo it". He explained:
"I mean you can overdo it to some degree.
"As Formula 1, there is no other country on the planet that has three events, so let's be happy with that and make the most of that.
"Don't try to outdo yourself."
The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix will be taking place on 16-18 November and the excitement is already building for the Saturday night race. The race on the iconic Las Vegas Strip is set to stay on the calendar until 2032, which will provide a huge economical boost for the city.
Andretti went on to comment on the upcoming race, stating that there is "a lot to be rejoiced about as an F1 fan" in America. He said:
"I think the most positive part about that is it is an enormous financial commitment there having seized property downtown that will remain permanent for the years to come.
"It looks like the future is solid for that and that is very important because many of these street events come and go.
"But what they have in place in Las Vegas is not just for the weekend - this is solid.
"There is a lot to be rejoiced about as an F1 fan here."
