F1 News: Charles Leclerc Branded "Legend" As He Announces Huge Charity Donation

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has announced that he is auctioning off his race suit, racing gloves, racing shoes, fireproof undershirt, and helmet, from the Monaco Grand Prix in order to raise money for the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.
The Monegasque driver sported a special, one-off design for his home race making the racing kit even more rare.
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was recently cancelled due to the severe flooding in the area. The focus was on making sure that no one was brought into an unsafe situation and also to keep the emergency services helping the local people. The tragic flooding and landslides resulted in 15 people sadly losing their lives and over 30,000 local residents being displaced.
AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda has also done a lot to help the community, where he has lived since the end of his first season in Formula One. The Ferrari team as well as F1 themselves have donated €1 million.
Taking to social media, Leclerc explained his plans along with a video:
"After the recent floods in Emilia Romagna, I decided to auction all of my racing kit from the Monaco GP weekend.
"I hope that we can raise as much money as possible for the people that really need it in this difficult time.
"The auction organised by @rmsothebys will be live from Friday 2nd June 10:00 BST until Tuesday 6th June 17:00 BST."
