F1 News: Engineer Under Fire From Fans For Insensitive Emilia Romagna GP Post - "Disgusting"

An F1 engineer has come under fire from fans for posting a photo of the ground at the Imola track with a seemingly sarcastic comment saying, "100% too wet". The photo shows the engineer walking along with some of the others from the Red Bull team on dry ground, however it is unclear which team he is from.
Fans have been quick to put the engineer in their place after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was cancelled yesterday due to the severe flooding in the area. Reports were released on Monday of red weather warnings of rain, thunderstorms, and wind. Nine people have now sadly lost their lives from the flooding and landslides with tens of thousands of locals displaced.
One F1 fan posted a screenshot of the engineer's post, commenting:
"It’s crazy to me that a rbr mechanic is going around 'debunking' an environmental catastrophe that caused the death of 9 people and left 13k homeless.
"Your race is never more important than the lives of those people, authorities have to give all their attention to THEM."

Another fan responded:
"Did they even read the statement put out by F1… The issue was never if the track would be dry or not but around the safety of attendees traveling to and from the area and diverting much needed resources away from flood victims to host a car race instead."

The original Twitter user who shared the post responded to others who were commenting, writing:
"He’s nasty, said his posts should be taken with a “pinch of salt”. I would take him in one of the provinces affected by the rains and see if he got any jokes in him still."

Another upset fan responded:
"This is disgusting. People died there and all he thinks is racing. What do they expect? Italian fans will attend the race and cheer for them while their citizens are suffering? Absolute madness."
