F1 News: Fans Rage Over Upcoming Changes - "Worst Thing To Happen"

F1 fans have been left outraged over the possibility of alternating European races in the near future.
Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of Formula 1, has shared the latest development - the introduction of a rotation system for future European races to make room for various venues on the bustling F1 calendar, which is likely to come into play in the next few years.
As Formula 1 continues to widen its global influence, the strategy of rotation for some races is gradually emerging. Although preserving the historical races like Monaco, Monza, and Silverstone is crucial, Domenicali emphasises that every European venue must adapt to changing times and meet world-class standards.
Taking to Reddit, fans discussed the potential changes and were less than impressed. One particularly angry fan commented:
"The man was the start of Ferraris downfall and now plans to do the same with F1."
As the sport as rapidly grown in popularity in the United States, there are now three races in America - Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas. One fan suggested that if there is space for those three races, there could be two races in Germany. They wrote:
"If the calendar has space for three Grands Prix in the US and four in the Middle East, we should be able to have two races in Germany, a country with a great F1 heritage and two fantastic circuits!"
Another fan urged F1 to reduce the amount of street circuits and not rotate the "actual racing circuits". They commented:
"Yep, I don't get why they have to do this, and if they are going to do it, do it with the new race tracks on the calendar or just street tracks. Don't get rid of actual racing circuits."
Someone else posted, abruptly:
"The worst thing to happen to this sport was going public."
