F1 fans have been taking to social media to blast the Ferrari team after an absolutely shocking pit stop with Charles Leclerc at the beginning of the Dutch Grand Prix. 

Rain began to fall in the first lap of the race in Zandvoort leading many drivers to pit for intermediate tyres, including the Monegasque driver. However, when he got to the pits the team were not ready with no new tyres in sight. This cost Leclerc massively in the early stages of the race.

By lap 12 Leclerc had to pit again with front wing damage. It's safe to say that this has not been Leclerc's weekend. 

Taking to social media, fans have been expressing their frustrations over the move. 

Matt Gallagher from P1 With Matt & Tommy, who is a huge Leclerc supporter, posted:

"Can someone please explain what Ferrari were hoping to do a pitstop with… WITH NO TYRES??????"

Another fan commented:

"It’s not even like it’s one missing tyre, all 4"

Someone else posted:

"The wrong tyre choice can be disastrous, they rejected the choice"
"The fact not one of the pit crew was shouting for the tyres shows how useless the whole bunch of them are!"
"It’s like every gp we all laugh and say damn Ferrari what are they thinking surely can’t get any worse AND THEN THEY GO DONE DO THIS"
"You'd think they would've learnt from the other dozen or so times they have tried this."
