F1 News: Ferrari Unveils "Special" Italian Grand Prix Race Suits

Ferrari has unveiled the race kit which will be worn by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix, the team's legendary home race in Monza.

The race suits feature the iconic Ferrari yellow as an accent colour along with a red and black design. The recent announcement has ignited excitement in fans who are anticipating a special livery on the SF-23 cars to compliment the new race suits, although this has not been unveiled yet.

Taking to social media, the team shared photos of the striking race suits. The team posted:

The design is not as bold as their choice for the 2022 Italian Grand Prix which saw the drivers in full Ferrari yellow suits. The team did also bring a special livery in 2022 and have confirmed that the 2023 livery will pay tribute to the recent Le Mans victory.

Overall, fans seem to be loving the new design. One fan commented:

However, some others took the opportunity to call the team out for the recent performances. The Dutch Grand Prix was chaotic from start to finish and saw Charles Leclerc suffer from a shambolic pit stop which lasted 10 seconds before he ultimately retired from the race.

Sainz explained ahead of the race weekend that the team realised that they got the SF-23 wrong at the beginning of the season and a "brand new" car will be brought in 2024.
