F1 News: Helmut Marko Makes Big Revelation About His Red Bull Future - “General Discussion"

While Red Bull has witnessed several rumors this season, there was one controversial topic that got brushed under the carpet rather quickly- the report of team advisor Dr Helmut Marko leaving the team after the 2023 season as a result of a ploy by team principal Christian Horner. Despite the 80-year-old advisor clarifying his position in the team, he has spoken yet again of a potential change in position in the coming days.
From Sergio Perez being demoted to AlphaTauri to Max Verstappen leaving Red Bull for another team, almost all key Red Bull figures, including design guru Adrian Newey weren't spared by the rumor mill, except Horner.

A few weeks ago, when the controversy between Horner and Marko erupted with rumors that the former was looking to remove the latter from the team to gain complete control of the outfit's F1 operations, Marko ended up putting out the fire by telling the media that he decides about his future and nobody else.
In addition, as per Brazilian publication Globo, sporting CEO Oliver Mintzlaff is said to be one of many Red Bull employees along with Horner, who is keen to witness Marko's exit. But speaking to OE24, Marko responded to the rumored ploy. He said:
“Contrary to many assumptions I have to disappoint the, as they say, doomsayers.
“There is no summit. I have a contract until the end of next year. When and how I stop, when it’s over, I decide and not, for example, Mr. Horner.”
Two months have passed since Red Bull won the constructors' championship and the rumors have also dimmed slowly. However, there might be discussions about Marko's future with Red Bull in the next few weeks. He revealed:
“After the season there will be a general discussion about what I do.
“It’s common for people to discuss what’s going to happen in the future after a season, that’s how it’s always been.”
Hinting that he still has the strength to go on, Marko added:
“I have the strength to do that.
“In Las Vegas (despite the late hours) I was in surprisingly good shape and better than most.”
