F1 News: Here Are The Upgrades Teams Are Bring To Silverstone

As the British Grand Prix approaches, there's a heightened sense of anticipation in the air as racing teams unveil their latest upgrades.
F1 fans had the chance to see the upgrades for the first time on track during the first free practice session earlier today, in which Max Verstappen topped the timesheets with Sergio Perez and Alex Albon putting in the second and third fastest times, respectively.
Mercedes
Mercedes has showcased new upgrades with further upgrades expected before the summer break.
The notable changes include a refined front wing, designed for optimal "chord distribution", and an upgraded front wing endplate, promising a seamless airflow on the W14 model.
Red Bull
Despite leading the championship comfortably, Red Bull isn't resting on its laurels. The British circuit's requirements have led to necessary adjustments on the RB19, with both the intake and exit in the brake duct area reduced to meet the track's demands.
The Austrian team has the smallest amount of wind tunnel time for the 2023 season due to winning the championship last year as well as their cost cap penalty, so it is important for the team to keep their lead as other teams aim to close the gap with their upgrades.
Alpine and McLaren
Alpine has rolled out a revamped front wing, focusing on adjustments to the main plane, flap, and endplate. The French team were seen alternating between the old and new wings during FP1 to gather the necessary data.
Not far behind, McLaren has responded with its own set of alterations, most notably a new nose, a redesigned front wing, and modifications to the rear suspension and brake duct. The MCL60 model is also showcasing a fresh chrome-flecked livery.
Aston Martin
After facing hurdles in Austria, Aston Martin is looking to rebound with newly introduced enhancements, including a fresh front wing flap and a reimagined rear brake duct inlet.
The British team also has a tweaked livery after they announced a new sponsorship deal with Valvoline.
Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo is making a statement with a broad range of upgrades focused on a redesign of the floor body, diffuser, rear brake duct, and realignment of the rear suspension covers.
AlphaTauri
AlphaTauri is determined to rise from the bottom of the Constructors’ Championship. Its extensive overhaul involves refining the floor body, fences, rear section, adding an extra winglet behind the top wishbone, modifying the rear wing, and expanding the engine cover.
The Italian team is finding themselves in a less-than-idea situation trailing behind in the constructors' championship with just two points. Before the 2023 season started, Red Bull motorsport advisor, Helmut Marko, confirmed the aim for the team was to finish fifth in the constructors' standings, which now seems like a tall order.
Haas
Haas' approach leans towards fine-tuning specific elements, including the front suspension and the front corner surface. Additionally, a new beam wing assembly is ready to be fitted to the car.
Williams
With an eye on its home race, Williams is set to roll out updated front and rear wings in an effort to bolster its chances of performing well at Silverstone.
The British team introduced big upgrades to Alex Albon's car in Canada which were applied to Logan Sargeant's car in Austria, which seem to have helped propel the team forward on the grid. Albon put in a great time during FP1, with the third fastest time on the board.
