F1 News: Jeremy Clarkson Owes Alpine "Many Hawkstones" After Successful Monaco Campaign

In an impressive display of skill, Esteban Ocon showcased his racing prowess at the Monaco Grand Prix, securing a remarkable third-place finish. The Alpine driver's exceptional drive from the third position on the grid saw him navigate all 78 laps without succumbing to the relentless pursuit of the Ferraris and Mercedes behind him.

Ahead of the race, The Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson offered everyone in the French team a pint if they managed a podium. To his surprise, they got exactly that.

This achievement marked Alpine's first podium since the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix, when Fernando Alonso claimed the honours. For Ocon, it was a significant milestone as well, as his last podium appearance dated back to his victory at the Hungaroring two whole years ago.

Exuberant with his triumph, Ocon celebrated his podium finish by shouting, "Estie bestie's on the podium, baby!" Adding to the joy, he also received 'Driver of the Day'.

Jeremy Clarkson, a prominent journalist and renowned presenter of Top Gear UK and Amazon's Grand Tour and Clarkson's Farm, actively engaged in the Monaco Grand Prix discussions over on Twitter.

Demonstrating his passion for Formula 1, he was keen to take to Twitter during the race's final stages, offering a generous promise to Alpine. He wrote:

"Come on Alpine, I'll buy you all a pint if you get a podium here," while tagging the Enstone-based team.
