From the image shared on social media platform X, the British driver seemed like he was deep inside the world of Nintendo, which certainly made him look different but, not much different from other fans in the store.

Last year in Canada, Hamilton entered a Nintendo store in Montreal to buy Mario Kart but failed to get one. So he bought an old game of his childhood hero Ayrton Senna on the Sega Genesis, called Mega Drive.

The 38-year-old's urge to play video games landed him in the gaming store with the funny hat but it was easy for fans to spot him, as the '44' branding on his white t-shirt was an easy giveaway. On Tuesday, he was also spotted eating ramen at restaurant Kikanbo while maintaining a low profile.

Hamilton comes to Japan with his recent podium finish at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore, which saw him finish third behind Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris. George Russell crashed into the barrier in the last lap during the Singapore GP, thereby giving an easy P3 to Hamilton who was chasing him in P4.

He revealed a different strategy he had in mind that could've brought them a  victory in Singapore but the team chose an alternate option. Looking forward to the Japanese GP, there are high chances of him applying this tactic at Suzuka.
