Lewis Hamilton is delving into a new venture - Almave. In an exclusive statement to WWD, Hamilton expressed his fondness for tequila, but often yearned for the taste without the alcoholic aspect.

“I’ve always loved tequila for its taste, but there are times when I don’t want the alcohol part of the deal and I know that there is a growing group of people who want the same,” he explained.

He found the perfect collaborators in Iván Saldaña and Casa Lumbre. Saldaña, a master distiller at the Mexico-based spirits producer Casa Lumbre, is Hamilton's business partner for Almave. Together, they crafted a spirit that champions the authenticity and flavors of tequila. Hamilton adds:

“With Almave, we’re all about offering a high-quality option that doesn’t compromise on the craft and flavors of tequila and provides a truly authentic nonalcoholic blue agave experience."

Almave's distinction lies in its use of blue agave, making it the only nonalcoholic spirit of its kind, according to the brand. The crafting process mirrors tequila-making, omitting only the fermentation stage when the drink becomes alcoholic.
