F1 Rumour: Madrid Grand Prix - Another Street Circuit Could Be Coming

Madrid is steadily advancing towards hosting a Grand Prix event. José Vicente de los Mozos, President of the Executive Committee of Ifema Madrid, the institution leading this initiative, revealed to Europa Press:
"I know when we are going to sign it and when we are going to do it".
He shared the ambitious expectation that Madrid's F1 GP could add an impressive 500 million euros per year to the city's economy, explaining that it would "not a race, but a whole an experience, the best in Europe"
Ifema’s pavilions are planned to accommodate the racing teams, and the circuit will partially run through Ifema's territory. Addressing the potential overlap with Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which has a contract through 2025, de los Mozos clarified:
"If in the end there are two [F1 races in Spain], I'm delighted, but I speak and work for Madrid."
This initiative marks Spain's flourishing relationship with Formula 1, punctuated by Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz’s participation in the championship.
De los Mozos confirmed the Spanish Automobile Federation's involvement in the negotiations since their inception. Furthermore, Motorsport.com confirmed that the Madrid F1 GP will be a reality, with both the organisers and Ifema's management maintaining regular communication with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
There has not been any confirmation of when fans can expect to see the exciting new circuit on the race calendar. However, it is anticipated that it would be after the contract with Barcelona comes to an end.
