F1 News: Max Verstappen Car Problem Revealed - "Lucky It Didn't Cause Issues During The Race"

Max Verstappen took home the 100th win for Red Bull this weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix, as the championship leader seemingly had another easy drive to the chequered flag. But after more information has been revealed about a problem with his car, it sounds like the Dutch driver could have had a very different result if things had gone wrong.
Halfway through the race, the RB19 pilot, unfortunately, managed to hit a bird as it flew out in front of the car. And while usually when this happens it will be pushed to the side of the car, this time the bird got stuck in the brake duct of the Adrian Newey-designed machine.
"It was still stuck on my car when I came in, it didn't look great!" Verstappen told Sky Sports F1 after the race
"I also feel sorry for the mechanic having to remove it."
Christian Horner, team principal of Red Bull, later admitted that it had lodged itself near a brake duct:
"The biggest moment he had was hitting a bird that did half the race behind the front right brake duct," Horner said.
Fans were quick to react to the bad luck, with one commenting on just how lucky Verstappen was:
"Really lucky that didn’t cause any issues during the race," they noted.
There was a mix of reactions over on Twitter:

I'm not putting much into Aston and Mercedes being closer to Max yesterday. Max had a dead bird in his brake duct and we've seen before that Red Bull can have some issues nailing the setup on weekends without much practice running, and they got about 75 minutes on Friday.
