It it anticipated that the race will be based at the Imola track following fan's requests as a way to raise money for the locals of the Emilia Romagna area. Extreme weather conditions and extensive flooding led to the unfortunate decision to cancel the grand prix this weekend.
Team Redline posted the news to social media, with a promotional poster of the virtual event with "real racers never quit" written above a picture of the Red Bull. They wrote the caption:
