F1 News: Max Verstappen Scolded for Blocking Lewis Hamilton -"A Bigger Embarrassment Every Race"

Fans have been furious at Max Verstappen for coming up close behind Lewis Hamilton in the closing stages of a flying lap and then blocking him out.
The incident occurred at the final corner during SQ1 when Hamilton set out for his last attempt at a flying lap. Verstappen flew by just when he was about to get in line.
A miscommunication from Mercedes left Hamilton unaware that he was getting in the way of Verstappen. However, the antics didn't end there. Verstappen tried to obstruct Hamilton into the first corner after both cars had crossed the finish line.
Outraged fans on Twitter have spoken of the event, with many scolding Verstappen for his 'mind games'.
One fan said:
"The lads becoming a bigger embarrassment to the sport with every race! The fact that all he has to do is slow down & stay out the way as he just finished his hot lap whilst lewis starts his lewis still lives rent free in his head from the 21 season. Pathetic from the dutchman."

No penalty for MAD MAX again, there was no need for him to be on LH racing line, MAD MAX knew exactly what he was doing here FIA need to do something

Blaming the FIA for this "blatant infringement", a fan said:
It is absolutely staggering this wasn’t met with a penalty. The most blatant infringement you’re likely to see. We already knew the @FIA have a #RedBullCheats bias but this is something else. Sport is ruined.

Of course, such posts on social media do attract opinions from fans of both F1 drivers. Many spoke against Hamilton for 'impeding' Verstappen's flying lap. Nevertheless, only an official investigation by the FIA in this matter can help identify the root cause of the error.
