F1 News: Monaco Grand Prix Could Be Mayhem As Chaotic Weather Conditions Predicted

As the Monaco Grand Prix weekend approaches, Weather.com predicts a significant amount of rain for the event.
On Friday, showers are expected throughout the day in Monaco, with a 70 percent chance of rain and even the possibility of thunderstorms. The maximum temperature will reach 22 degrees Celsius, and the night is expected to be dry in the city-state.
Saturday's forecast indicates thunderstorms and continuous showers throughout the day and night. The temperature will reach 21 degrees celsius, also with a 70 percent chance of rain. The weather forecast for Sunday expects showers throughout the day but there are currently no signs of thunderstorms, making the chances of the first rain race of 2023 very likely.
The revamped Pirelli "Cinturato Blue" rain tyres, which do not need tyre warmers, were ready for their debut at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. However, with the cancellation, Monaco now presents the opportunity for the first appearance of the tyres.
Pirelli's Mario Isola stated that Monaco could potentially serve as the venue for the new rain tyre's debut. The tyre, designed for wet conditions without the need for warmers, will be used depending on the weather. Isola expressed this sentiment in a press release, saying:
"After the cancellation of Imola, Monaco could now be the debut for the new Cinturato Blue, full wets without tyre warmers, obviously depending on weather conditions."
Teams will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast over the next few days to appropriately prepare for the weekend when the on-track action will commence.
Free Practice one and two will take place on Friday 26th followed by the third free practice session and qualifying on Saturday 27th and the race on Sunday 28th.
