F1 News: Nico Hulkenberg's Haas Smokes As It Burns - Red Flagged Canadian GP

Nico Hulkenberg has brought his second practice session of the day to an end as his Haas comes to a stop after the pit entrance of the Canadian Grand Prix track.
Losing power out of the famous chicane next to the Wall of Champions, smoke erupted from the back of the American car. While it's not confirmed, it looks like an oily smoke, and is highly likely a power unit failure, specifically the internal combustion engine.
At the time, he was running P18 on the timesheets with a best lap time of 1:16.369. This came after teams across the grid struggled to get their cars out in FP1 due to camera issues that deemed the session to be cancelled. This

This will be a long evening for the team now as they are forced to dive into the car to replace not only what went wrong within the power unit, but the wiring and other components that could be damaged by the resulting fire.
