F1 News: Red Bull Breaks Another Of Their Own Records At Hungarian Grand Prix

Red Bull has broken yet another of their own records at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen took the team to victory at the race in Budapest marking a new record number of consecutive race wins for a team with twelve. However, this was not the only record that the team made this weekend.
DHL records the fastest pit stops throughout the F1 seasons. Red Bull had marked the fastest pit stop so far this season with Sergio Perez's impressive 2.07 second tyre change during the Spanish Grand Prix. Now, the Mexican driver has smashed that record with an insanely fast pitstop in Hungary of just 1.98 seconds.
Red Bull also holds the record for the fastest pitstop of all time after pulling off a 1.82 second stop at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix with Max Verstappen.
One fan commended the Austrian team for putting in the work and practice to be able to make the achievement. They wrote:
"Its insane honestly because now they have the automated light and they have bigger tyres.
"Those Red Bull boys been putting in the work. Both in the gym and practice."
Although Verstappen has dominated the 2023 season so far winning nine out of the eleven races. The Dutch driver has now extended his lead in the drivers' standings on Perez to 110 points.
Despite this, fans have backed the Mexican driver for having better pitstops. One fan commented:
"Perez must be doing something right, because he almost always has slightly faster stops than Max. Probably stopping on his marks better"
There is just one more race to go before the summer break with the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend, where the rest of the grid will be attempting to break Verstappen's winning streak.
