F1 News: Red Bull Responds To Emilia Romagna GP Cancellation

The Red Bull F1 team has responded to the cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Formula One confirmed this morning that they had come to the decision along with the FIA, race promoters, and local authorities to not go ahead with the event at this difficult time.
The Austrian team, who are currently leading the constructors' championship and drivers' standings with Max Verstappen, has shared their support of the decision made by the F1. They posted:
"Following the heavy rain that has been affecting northern Italy, we support the decision taken by @F1 to not proceed with the Grand Prix in Imola this weekend.
"Safety to all those involved and in the region is paramount and has to take priority. Our thoughts are with those affected by the ongoing flooding in Emilia-Romagna and with the emergency teams serving in the region at this difficult time."

"It was clearly necessary given what is currently happening in northern Italy. Good decision from F1 and my thoughts towards the population affected by these floods."

Someone else suggested that teams share how to donate to help. They wrote:
"It’s the right decision for sure. Maybe all the teams could post links on how to help those affected? Thoughts are of course great but it doesn’t directly help those who need it"
