F1 News: Sebastian Vettel Reveals Lengths He Went To In 2022 To Reduce Environmental Impact

Former F1 driver Sebastian Vettel has been known to actively participate in ecological endeavors that focus on reducing and sometimes eliminating activities that harm or destroy the environment. Just recently, the four-time champion revealed that he didn't depend on air travel to attend F1 Grand Prix races across Europe last season.

Air travel has been known to create a huge carbon footprint as opposed to other means of travel, given the amount of fuel an aircraft consumes and the emissions it would generate. Vettel understands the severity of it.

Not only has Vettel shown that he cares for the environment but, he also sent out a message of being a true car enthusiast. He said:

"Most of the reduction was the elimination of flights. With the exception of Silverstone and Budapest, I drove to all of the European races last season."

The post on X has fans giving all sorts of reactions, with most interested in what car he drove while others asked why he didn't opt for the train.
